Four men, aged between 24 and 36, were arrested on December 5 in connection with a house robbery in Lakefield.
The four were arrested in Daveyton at around 1am by the Trio Task Team.

Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said the suspects were found in possession of a firearm and ammunition and items stolen during the house robbery on November 14.
“On that day, it is reported that the homeowner and gardener were inside the house when they heard a car in the driveway,” said Sekele.
“Two men suddenly entered the home, threatened them with a firearm and took their cellphones.”
Sekele said the two were forced into a bedroom and the homeowner was instructed to lie on the floor.
“The two suspects took the gardener with them while they searched the house and stole jewellery, a television, bedding, a luggage bag and laptop,” she said.
“They then loaded the items into a bakkie and drove off.”
The gardener and the homeowner were not harmed.
The bakkie that was used in the commission of the crime was also recovered by police and impounded.
Benoni SAPS station commander Brig Ntakuseni Lukhwareni commended the task team members on the arrests and urged the community to always screen potential domestic staff before employing them.
