Rotary Anns thanks Pick n Pay at Sheridan Shopping Centre

Residents are welcome to donate towards their next food drive on April 4 at the Pick n Pay Sheridan Shopping Centre in Farrarmere from 9am to 4pm.

Rotary Club of Benoni Aurora Anns president Janice Carter awarded manager of the Pick n Pay Sheridan Shopping Centre in Farrarmere Neville Randolph a certificate for their significant contribution to the community of Benoni and support of the projects of the club on February 7.

Janice said: “Pick n Pay and the Rotary have had a long-standing relationship which has been going on for over 20 years.

“They allow us to have our food drives on their premises every two months, and we just want to thank them for their continued support.”

At their food drive on February 1, they filled about eight trolleys, which were donated to groups that they feed, such as Ikhaya Da Luz, Etwatwa soup kitchen, Colin House and The Benoni High School feeding scheme.
