The Benoni police are investigating a case of business robbery after a shop in High Road was robbed on July 29 at around 10am.
SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said according to the business owner a bakery van was delivering bread at his store.
“As he was counting money to pay for the delivery two men entered the shop and held them up,” said Sekele. “The robbers took cellphones and an money from the delivery person and the shop owner, as well as personal documents from the shop owner.”
The robbers fled in two VW-make vehicles.
