Man found dead in Fifth Avenue
Police alerted paramedics and the man was certified dead
An inquest docket was opened at the Benoni SAPS after a man was found dead on the corner of Wellington Street and Fifth Avenue, Northmead, at around 10am on August 16.
Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said police responded after receiving information about the body. Officers alerted paramedics and the man was certified dead.
Police need help identifying the deceased. Anyone with information regarding the man or families which may have reported a missing person should contact the station on 011 747 0000 or use the MySAPSApp.
