AfriForum celebrates Arbor Day and Heritage Day together
AfriForum Benoni spend Heritage Day giving back.
On September 24, the AfriForum Benoni team spent their morning at the Simethemba Hope House in Benoni AH.
The team assisted the children in planting fruit trees in aid of the recent Arbor Month. The trees were donated to the home by Flora High Nursery.

After a hot morning of gardening and showing the children how to plant the trees and look after them correctly, they were given some treats and sweets donated Pies N More.
AfriForum has been actively involved with the children’s home throughout lockdown, providing food as well as essential supplies.
The home was also sanitised during lockdown to ensure the safety of the children.
“What a privilege it was to see children smile and having fun. We have been involved with this home and we will continue to support them where possible,” said Dean Ambrose, AfriForum Benoni project manager.
