Children take part in Halloween trick or treat

Audrey Steyn, new acting director of LifeLine Ekurhuleni, said that they hosted the walk to raise awareness of their services and to offer children the chance to just have some fun.

Lifeline Ekurhuleni, in conjunction with businesses in Russel Street, Western Extension, joined forces to give the children of the area a great trick or treat experience on October 31.

A Halloween walk started at Lifeline, also in Russel Street, and with the assistance of AfriForum the street was cordoned off to ensure participants were safe.

Twins Nadia and Natalie Mzimela (6) came to experience Halloween with Glory Gamede and Lindi Mzimela.

After collecting treats along the way, the walk ended at Lemongrass Restaurant, where those who dressed up could enter the best dressed competition to stand the chance of winning a prize.
