The Benoni Police Station will be temporarily closed today (January 1) and tomorrow for decontamination due to some staff testing positive for Covid-19.

The Community Service Center will be operating from Lifeline East Rand on the corners of Russel Street and Mowbray Avenue, Western Extension.

The community can call 10 111 for all complaints and emergencies that needs to be attended by the Benoni Police.

The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again.

The SAPS management apologise for any inconvenience that may arise from this.
