Donate blood on Saturday

The SANBS will be hosting an Easter blood drive at the Benoni Monkey and Bird Park, 241 Swallow Road, Rynfield, on April 3.

The doors will be open from 9am to 4pm.

“We organised this event, along with park owners Calvin and Ashlynn Tuniz, to secure sufficient blood for patients in need,” said Terrance Pillay, donor relations practitioner and SANBS spokesperson.

“SANBS is also in a national crisis and this partnership has allowed us to increase collections and blood stocks during the Easter break.”
