Putfontein NPO in need of donations to feed the elderly

The elderly are given breakfast when they participate in Bible studies, exercise and handcrafts during the week.

A Putfontein NPO, Samukelo Esihle Community Projects, is seeking donations to help feed the elderly in the area.
Seventy elderly members of this NPO meet three days a week at a local church in Mayfield Extension One and Six.

They receive breakfast when they participate in Bible studies, exercise and handcrafts during the week.
Samukelo Tshabalala, the founder of the project, said she has not been able to feed the elderly these past few months due to a lack of donations.

“We prepare breakfast for the grannies so they can be able to take their medication in the morning,” said Tshabalala. We would appreciate community members or local businesses that can donate food parcels so we can cook daily meals for those who are in need.”

Anyone who would like to donate can contact Tshabalala on 083 404 8560.
