Local church gives back to fathers

A special guest was brought on board to develop and stimulate the father's esteem through a motivational Sunday service.

Cornerstone Christian Church in MacKenzie Park showed their appreciation to the fathers in the congregation on June 20 by donating food parcels that they could take to their families.

The pandemic has affected all South Africans and fathers have not been spared from the impact.

Past Precious Sibisi said that the church wanted to bring back the dignity of the fathers in these tough times.

“By doing so, we wanted them to realise that they are still the head of their households and give them the ability to celebrate this day with their families.”
