The Etwatwa Greening Team recently hosted a clean-up at the Etwatwa Ward 109 area and felt it was a great success.

The team managed to collect 91 bags of rubbish and hopes to do more of these clean-ups in the coming months.

“World Environmental Day was successfully celebrated by cleaning illegal dumping and picking up litter,” said Vusi Matladi, Daveyton resident and founder of Etwatwa Greening Team.

“We would also like to thank Themba Motor Engine Garage who donated cold drinks, PETCO Recycling Company NPC for donating plastic bags and refreshments and Rita Groenewald from Roots & Shoots for mutual support.”
