Life Choices benefits from winter wool drive

The NPO aims to empower, encourage and equip women who are pregnant, women with children and women who have suffered an overwhelming loss through abortion, miscarriage and stillbirth.

All thanks to the Boksburg Advertiser’s annual Winter Wool Drive, Life Choices Pregnancy Crisis Centre assisted new moms with a donation of knitted baby beanies.

The donated items were handed over to the organisation on August 25.

Expressing gratitude for the donation received Juliet Nkadimeng, a receptionist from the centre said they were grateful for being the beneficiaries of the wonderful project.

“These knitted items made with love will keep the babies warm and the mothers will appreciate them,” she said.

Their other services include antenatal, child development sessions and counselling.

The centre, based on the corner of 5th and Cloverdene roads, would appreciate donations of baby clothes (six to 12 months), toiletries (mom and baby) and nappies (newborn to size five).
