Tom Jones reopened after flood

The parts of Tom Jones and Bunyan streets that were closed due to the heavy rains this morning (November 26) have been reopened.

The EMPD closed the roads this morning due to flooding.

“For now the road is open for traffic to flow, but the rain will dictate what happens next. But we are crossing fingers that it does not rain heavily,” said EMPD media liaison spokesperson Lerato Monyane.
