Have you always wanted to help the Benoni SPCA but didn’t know how? Well, now is your chance to sponsor a kennel.
The Benoni SPCA is appealing to individuals and companies to help sponsor a kennel as a way of assisting society to continue taking care of four-legged friends.
According to the Benoni SPCA manager, Bronwyn Kleynhans, the society maintains over 160 kennels daily which are usually full of animals that have been brought as strays or surrendered.
“It does not matter how or why they come to us, we do not turn any animal away. We take them in, feed and house them. This all costs time and money, and being an NPO, both of those are always in short supply.”
Kleynhans said for a small fee each month, a company or individual can sponsor a kennel to take care of animals that are housed in that kennel.
“The sponsorship can be paid monthly, or if you prefer, yearly. To say thank you, we will put your name or your company’s name on a board on the kennel that you are sponsoring,” said Kleynhans.
