William Hills Secondary maintains average in matric results

The school saw a drop of 1%.

The school achieved a pass rate of 81% – a slight drop from the 82% achieved in 2020.

Fifty-nine learners sat for their National Senior Certificate exams, while 15 learners obtained bachelor’s degree exemptions.

Palesa Seima, Hope Alum and Naledi Squire were the school’s top achievers with two distinctions each.

Principal Lionel Singh explained that although they are proud of the results, there was room for improvement.

“To have such consistency can only be realised by dedicated and motivated learners. However, there is room for improvement, and those are the lessons we are taking into the 2022 academic year.”
