With more than 700 000 formal refuse removal service points across Ekurhuleni, changes have been made to the waste removal calendar, as from April 4.
According to Zweli Dlamini, spokesperson for the metro, the changes were introduced to balance the pick-up routes in order to provide equal rotation services to all customers daily.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these changes but believe that it will improve the level of the service rendered,” said Dlamini.
The new calendar is available on the city’s website (www.ekurhuleni.gov.za) and their social media pages.
