Local Founder of NPO believes feeding brings clear concentration

The Benoni-based NPO feeds approximately 50 people seven days a week.

Max Pillay, founder of Vineyard Missions and Outreach, is appealing for donations to continue assisting those in need.

The Benoni-based NPO feeds approximately 50 people seven days a week and is in need of donation of food, old clothing, and other items to keep the organisation running.

According to Pillay, they are in need of donations because he is unable to cover the costs.

“I pay all the involved expanses, but recently I am struggling. I’m doing this to not only reduce petty crime, but also to make their lives a little easier.

“The people we serve wake up hungry and without a place to go in the morning. I believe that at that point, their first instinct would be to steal something to feed themselves. We are attempting to relieve them of that burden,” said Pillay

Anyone who can donate or assist the NPO may email the organisation on vineyardmissions1@gmail.com or contact 082 973 4856.
