Members of the Benoni SAPS arrested six suspects on charges of drug possession and theft on May 4.
The arrests form part of the station’s routine operations throughout the CBD.
Five suspects were arrested on charges of being in possession of drugs with the intent to sell. Nyope, Mandrax and rocks (cocaine) were seized.
One person was arrested at the police clearance building, in Bedford Avenue, on charges of theft.
The suspect was in possession of corrugated iron that was removed from the structure.
