Arthur Msibi crowned first Daveyton Mall ambassador

The Daveyton resident holds a Diploma in Journalism qualification.

Arthur Msibi from Daveyton has recently been crowned as Daveyton Mall’s first ambassador.

Msibi said he entered the competition because he wanted to be at the forefront of community initiatives.

“My passion lies in helping the needy and being the voice of the voiceless. My responsibilities as an ambassador are yet to be discussed, but I hope to change the lives of Daveyton people,” said Msibi.

The 26-year-old said he was in disbelief when he was crowned in April because he was up against powerful individuals.

“Knowing how influential the top 10 finalists were, I didn’t think I stood a chance. When I won, it reminded me that my legacy is the next generation of dreamers inspired by my dream.

“The title reminded me of why I shouldn’t stop dreaming. I will be continuing with the legacy of community development initiatives that will restore confidence and hope to the youth since depression is a pandemic in our communities,” said Msibi.

The Daveyton resident holds a journalism diploma qualification and is studying towards a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
