Eazi Access keeps children warm at Oliver’s Village

Oliver's Village is managed by eight full-time caregivers and teaching is according to the CAPS curriculum

Children were kept warm during the winter season at Oliver’s Village – all thanks to Eazi Access.

Oliver’s Village is a non-profit organisation based in Benoni founded to provide social services to the disadvantaged communities of Benoni and Daveyton.

According to Tralone Khoza, marketing specialist of Eazi Access, this organisation is passionate about making a meaningful difference to the surrounding communities.

“The centre reached out to us for further assistance with a need for a winter warmer for the children.

“We didn’t miss the opportunity to contribute towards socks, gloves and beanies,“ said Khoza.

Oliver’s Village currently accommodates over 120 preschoolers in the education and computer training centre, aged between six months and five years.

Khoza said admission is based on strict criteria that focus on children from child-headed households, households run by a guardian and households where both parents are unemployed.

“Eazi Access’ past donations have supported Oliver’s Village’s project which includes a community vegetable garden, early childhood development centre, soup kitchen and educational learning centre.

“The organisation believes that all children have the right to good quality education and a healthy environment in which to learn and is committed to providing a free and responsible service to the community.

“From the classrooms of their education and computer training centre to the playground of their children’s care centre the increased demand for their services continues to stretch their limited resources,” said Khoza.
