Superstars Academy midfielder Elijah Naidoo has moved to Pretoria Athletic FC for the remainder of the year.
The 11-year-old left-footed player will link up with the Tshwane side U13 premier division side that’s placed second on the log in the SAFA Tshwane U13 league.
The Benoni South resident started his football career at Benoni Northerns before moving to the Woodlands International Football Academy three years ago.
“It’s an important move for him. He needed to play with more senior players in a challenging environment,” said his father and Superstars Academy chairperson Shan Naidoo.
“We will be playing in the Gauteng Development League next year. We wanted to start grooming him to get familiar with playing with more skilled and bigger players so that he is prepared.”
