POSTPONED: Public meetings for drafting of new water service by-laws put off

The meetings were initially scheduled to take place on different dates across the city

The meetings arranged for the public to participate in the process of drafting the new City of Ekurhuleni water service by-laws have been postponed until further notice.

These meetings were initially scheduled to take place on different dates across the city starting from early January and run until the end of March.

However, due to undisclosed issues that need to be addressed, the metro decided to postpone the upcoming meetings.

The meetings were initially scheduled to take place in the following order:
• Vosloorus: February 28 at Vosloorus Civic HallBenoni and Boksburg: March 2 at Boksburg City Hall (Pink hall)

• Germiston: March 13 at Alberton civic hall

• Edenvale and Bedfordview: March 24 at Bedfordview community hall

•Kempton Park: March 27 at Kempton Park Civic Centre

•Thembisa: March 32 at Rabasotho hall.
