VOX: Why is it important to recycle?

Following a visit from Clean Projects’, Alison Etherington, learners of Benoni Nursery School were excited to talk about recycling.

James Etherington (5): When you recycle you can sell it to factories. They make something new and you get money.

Liam Bronkhorst (5): If you put rubbish in the recycling they squash it up and make something new.

Levey Main (5): Rubbish that is recycled can make new things like bottles and paper.

Tegan Sadie (4): If you recycle there wouldn’t be so much rubbish in the street.

Cole Waner (5): Rubbish must never be thrown in the street. Litter belongs in the bin.
