BFS member promoted

Klopper has served within the SAPS for the past 32 years

With 32 years of service under his belt, Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) member Warrant Officer Tjaart Klopper has been promoted to captain.

Klopper was one of five officers that formed part of the Gauteng Rapid Response Services (RRS) to receive new ranks, at the 10111 Call Centre in Midrand.

Working as a BFS member since 2001, Klopper has been lauded for his high standard of service.

“BFS is known as a unit that maintains a high standard of discipline and it is an honour to welcome a member of Klopper’s calibre to the unit’s management team,” said Lieutenant Colonel Tali Lukhele, BFS commander.
