Armed robbers target Wattville congregants
Armed suspects walked into a Wattville church and robbed worshippers.

Five armed men recently robbed congregants of a church in Wattville during their midweek prayer service.
According to the SAPS district communications officer, Captain Neldah Sekgobela, the men entered the church at around 19:40 and forced the victims to lie on the floor.
“The suspects took their cellphones, jewellery and other valuables worth about R10 000. The victims were then locked inside the church and the suspects fled the scene,” said Sekgobela.
No injuries were reported.
A case of robbery with aggravating circumstances has been opened.
