Gcaleka encourages communities to report service delivery issues
The Public Protector roadshow seeks to promote quality service delivery and good governance in state affairs.
Public Protector Advocate Kholeka Gcaleka visited Daveyton recently to engage with senior government officials, public representatives and residents about the importance of addressing service delivery.
Discussions were centred around the theme ‘Unpacking undue delays in all spheres of government’.
Gcaleka’s visit to the Victor Ndlazilwane Community Centre Hall formed part of her office’s Stakeholder Roadshow aimed at strengthening ties and fostering cooperation between provincial legislatures, government departments, municipalities and traditional authorities.

The roadshow also seeks to promote quality service delivery and good governance in state affairs.
Gcaleka urged residents to voice their concerns openly as she emphasised that her role is to take service issues forward for resolution.
The Executive Mayor, Sivuyile Ngodwana, encouraged residents to address longstanding issues.
