SANBS endeavour record collection
Be part of the country’s largest national blood drive on April 13.
To boost its blood reserves and encourage regular donation, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) has partnered with the Western Cape Blood Service to collect 5 000 units of blood in one day.
Roll up your sleeves and head to the Sheridan Centre, Farrarmere, on April 13 to be part of the 1 Day, 1 Nation, 5 000 Units of Blood initiative.
Northmead SANBS Donor Centre representatives are chilling the juices and have ample choc-chip cookies in stock, ready to collect your donated life-saving blood from 09:00 to 16:00.
You are an eligible donor if you lead a healthy lifestyle, are 16 years or older and weigh over 50kg.
