SPOTTED: ARA and Homestead Helpers give intersection a facelift

Werner Bornman, Heidi Leitch and Sumari Bornman joined other members of the Avenues Residents Association (ARA) and Homestead Helpers as they rolled up their sleeves to give the First Avenue and Aerodrome Drive intersection, near the N12 bridge, a facelift on April 6. The intersection has been engulfed by illegal dumping, with heaps of litter on parts of the N12 fence. They picked up litter, pruned trees and cut the grass on the pavement.
