Rynfield youngster Logan Erwee (15) recently achieved great success at the South African Radio Drivers Association National Championships at Zwartkops RCX Raceway.
‘Boer’, as he is known on the rugby field, attained third place in the Pro Nitro Buggy A main final. He also placed fourth in the Pro Electric Buggy A main final, a phenomenal conclusion to the event.
Furthermore, Logan qualified for the junior and senior world championships in Spain next year.
The Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool learner said he was pleased with his performance at the championships.
“I still cannot believe it and am grateful for what I have achieved,” he said, adding the highlight of the championship was spending time with his friends and his father, Martin, his biggest cheerleader.
