The South African National Blood Services’ (SANBS) Northmead Donor Centre is calling on eligible blood donors to support their mass collection drive on October 19.
With a target of collecting 120 units of blood on the day, the SANBS invites community members to make their life-saving contributions at the Kleinfontein Bowling Club, 4 Woodpecker Street, Mackenzie Park.
Phlebotomists will collect donations in exchange for chilled fruit juice and cookies from 09:00.
Donors must weigh over 50kg, be aged between 16 and 75 and lead healthy lifestyles.
