Foundation gifts organisation with fresh veggies
“This event plays a crucial role in promoting food security and healthy living among vulnerable populations."
The 100% Foundation recently held its annual Fresh Vegetable Support event, which provides fresh vegetables to organisations in the community to promote food security and healthy living.
This year, the foundation supported several organisations, including Sukuma Mbokodo, Kganya Batho and Family Care Ministries, Hope and Harmony, the Queen Madonsela Home, the Ebenhaeser Old Age Home and Letjwa la Thuso.

“This event is crucial for promoting food security and healthy living among vulnerable populations. By providing access to fresh vegetables, we enhance nutritional intake and foster community resilience and independence,” said the foundation’s senior project co-ordinator, Janap Biemba.
“The link with these organisations enables us to reach those in greatest need, ensuring families and individuals have the resources necessary to thrive. As we reflect on the success of this year’s event, we remain committed to strengthening our efforts and expanding our reach, empowering communities to cultivate a healthier future together. Thank you to our donor, Affinity Life, for making this possible,” added Biemba.
