Bowlers gear up for provincial challenge

The club will be represented by seven bowlers.

The Benoni Bowling Club (BBC) chairperson, Eammon McNulty, congratulated the club’s bowlers who have been selected to represent Ekurhuleni Bowls (EKB) in the Gauteng Challenge next year.

The EKB has selected a team of 60 bowlers who will turn out for the open and veterans’ men and women’s teams in the competition, with seven coming from the BBC.

Wilma Richardson will represent Lake Club Bowls in the competition.

“I offer my warmest praise and heartfelt congratulations to these phenomenally talented bowlers who each merit their place. Benoni Bowling consistently produces exceptional bowlers, cementing its position as a powerhouse in the EKB district,” said McNulty.

Benoni will be represented by 28 bowlers from Lake Club, Northmead and Benoni Country Club, as well as the BBC.
