The Bacha Ba Dichaba Explorers (BBDE) appeals for community assistance to help its spellers participate in the African Spelling Bee finals in Abuja, Nigeria, from December 18 to 22.

“As we set our sights on Abuja, we reach out to local businesses and organisations for support. Monetary donations help make this rewarding experience a reality for our learners. Donors will receive an 18A tax exemption from the NPO and brand recognition on our social media platforms,” said BBDE founder Thabang Dichaba.

Dichaba explained their top spellers’ journey this year “has been nothing short of remarkable”, adding that they showcased the dedication and talent of the learners from various schools in Etwatwa and Daveyton.

“The support from their parents, the NGO called The 100% Foundation, and the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation has been invaluable, providing the resources and encouragement needed for our spellers to excel.

“Join us in our mission to empower the next generation of leaders through education and competition,” added Dichaba.

Donate to Nedbank, account (savings) number 2011 978 734, and the reference is ‘spelling bee’. For more details, call Dichaba on 063 468 0872.
