Benonian Lauren Lourens was
presented with a brand-new Suzuki
Swift on December 3 after winning
a fundraising competition held by
the Thisusu Foundation. Lauren
received the car in Parkdene
following the conclusion of the
fundraising campaign that began
with an exciting draw on November
20 at Entrance 4 of the East Rand
Mall. The car, generously donated
by an anonymous benefactor, was
a key highlight of the foundation’s
initiative to support individuals
facing economic challenges.
Founded in 2018, the Tshisusu
Foundation is dedicated to various
initiatives such as soup kitchens,
training programmes for volunteers
and food hamper distributions.
