Argument ends in tragedy

A heated argument between two siblings in Tamboville on December 29 ended tragically, resulting in the death of one of them.
The cause of the argument, which occurred at the family home, remains unclear.
According to Actonville police spokesperson Constable Lwazi Dladla, it is alleged that a 37-year-old man, who was intoxicated, initiated the fight with his 25-year-old brother.
“The younger sibling, who sustained stab wounds to his upper body, fled the scene but later returned. He reportedly entered the house, took the weapon and stabbed his older brother once in the upper body, fatally wounding him,” said Dladla.
According to the information gathered, the siblings frequently argued over various issues.
The 25-year-old was arrested and charged with murder.
