St Dunstan’s College shines with 100 per cent pass rate again

St Dunstan’s College again achieved a 100% matric pass rate, a tradition the school has maintained since its establishment 29 years ago.
Of the 98 learners who wrote the 2024 IEB examinations, 99% achieved bachelor’s degree exemptions, marking the highest percentage of degree passes to date.
Top achievers Marié Naude, Cian Dadoo and Kelly Richter earned distinctions in all their subjects.
Richter’s average placed her on the IEB’s outstanding achievement list, ranking within the top 5% in six or more subjects and achieved a rating of seven in life orientation.

Deputy head of academics, Allan Lachenicht, praised the Class of 2024 for their remarkable leadership and ability to inspire one another positively.
He highlighted the importance of a stable and dedicated teaching staff, describing it as crucial to the learners’ academic achievements.
