Fancy yourself a handyman? Hospice charity shop needs you

Strap on your tool belt and help spruce up the Rynfield Hospice Charity Shop.

East Rand Palliative Care’s (ERPC) Rynfield Hospice Shop is getting a new look and is calling on handymen to lend a helping hand.

Located at 17D Waterson Street, volunteer co-ordinator Isabella Pretorius is appealing to crafty DIY maestros to gather their tools and extend their measuring tapes to assist in erecting sturdy shelving for donated items to be optimally displayed.

Sales generated from the nine Hospice charity shops across Ekurhuleni form part of ERPC’s main fundraising streams, thus ensuring that it can continue offering specialised home-based palliative care to those battling life-threatening and life-limiting diseases.
