The Rocking Future career expos tour Hans Moore
"The level of engagement from students and educators exceeded our expectations."
The Rocking Future team recently made a stop at Hoërskool Hans Moore to host a career expo for matriculants.
Founded by Kay Cheytanov, the Rocking Future career expos help students to understand the options available and to decide what careers suit their personality, skills and ambitions.
“For 24 years, Rocking Future’s 3RC has been helping South African high school students to discover the exciting opportunities that await them once they leave school.

“This can be a very daunting time for students, especially those unsure what to do and how to find a job when they finish school,” said Cheynatov.
Last year, Cheynatov and the 3RC team spent five months touring SA with the Rocking Future career expos.
“This journey was nothing short of spectacular. The level of engagement from students and educators exceeded our expectations. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, affirming the expo’s role in shaping future careers.”

They visited 231 high schools across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Gqeberha and KZN and distributed 29 423 Future Guide Magazines, which is targeted at matriculants and is packed information to educate, motivate and inspire.
This year, they kicked off the expos positively and have already toured high schools across Ekurhuleni and Cape Town.
“The tours have already visited Pretoria, Gqeberha and Johannesburg and will continue to inspire students in high schools across the Kwazulu Natal, from January to May. The expo is free for students and schools to participate in,” added Cheynatov.
