Don’t miss Ballet Surprise with the East Rand Youth Orchestra in Benoni this weekend

Book now at Webtickets or take your chances at the door on the day.

Ballet lovers are invited to a weekend of theatrical bliss in Benoni with a production entitled Ballet Surprise with the East Rand Youth Orchestra and QuayWake Ballet.

Orchestra conductor Pienaar Fourie invites the public to come along and enjoy the beauty and finesse of some of the best moments from Swan Lake by Tchaikovski, on stage and live.

“This is our second year of combining ballet with a live orchestra and this is your chance to come and enjoy this special art form, done by young masters, in costume.

“By attending, you will also be supporting the East Rand Youth Orchestra, which is a NPO, in its work to uplift the community, with the support of the Mzansi Symphony Orchestra.”

Pienaar urges parents to bring their children along for the experience, which can help them to “start building their dreams”.

Catch Ballet Surprise at 14:30 on Saturday (November 8) and Sunday (November 9) at EJ Butler Hall, St Dunstan’s College, Rynfield.

Tickets are between R60 and R100. Book at Webtickets or take a chance at the door (cards welcome).
