Change a child’s life, donate to Matthew 25’s stationery drive

Every donation is an investment in a child’s academic success.

The school year is steadily drawing to a close, with many learners sitting for their final exams, while an entire new generation is growing excited about ‘big school’.

For the past five years, The Matthew 25 Project in Rynfield, in collaboration with GodFirst Family Church Boksburg, has collected and lovingly packed essential stationery supplies for underprivileged children in Chief Albert Luthuli.

Each year, about 100 packs containing writing books, pens, stationery, rulers, erasers, scientific calculators, maths sets and toiletries are delivered to needy learners.

“Supporting students with educational resources is vital because without these basic tools, they are at a serious disadvantage,” said Carol Foster of The Matthew 25 Project.

“We witnessed how a Grade 11 learner battled through his year, failing maths. Once he received the correct tools, he aced the year. His story is a powerful reminder that something as simple as a calculator or maths set can change the entire trajectory of a young person’s life.”

By supporting this project, you are not just donating pens, you are investing in a child’s education, confidence and future.
