St Michael’s Scouts Group calls all former members to its 110th celebration

Guests are urged to proudly don items from their old Scouting uniform.

The Second Boksburg (St Michael’s) Scout Group is celebrating its 110th anniversary on June 13, and former members, leaders and supporters are invited to attend.

Established in 1916, the group has played an integral role in developing the city’s youth.

The celebration promises to be filled with nostalgic moments, the rekindling of old friendships, and the sharing of decades of Scouting memories.

The festivities will kick into action at the Masonic Hall, Jubilee Road, Boksburg South, at 17:30.

Tickets are R150 per person and include a meal. A cash bar will be available.

Guests are urged to proudly don items from their old Scouting uniform as a tribute to the movement’s rich history.
