Help TAG make a tail-wagging move to a new home

Help bark up support for this exciting project.

The cat is out of the bag! The Animal Guardians (TAG) are relocating and need your help creating a sanctuary for the animals in their care.

Pouncing into action to transform a property on the corner of Third Road and Third Avenue, Van Ryn Small Holdings, into a ‘paw-some’ plot for the animal welfare organisation’s dogs and cats, the TAG team is appealing to businesses, community members and contractors to assist in building a ‘yappy’ new home.

What they need

The following are needed to erect new kennels, a cattery and secure enclosures:
• Four Wendy houses
• IBR roof sheeting
• Tek screws and roof washers
• Rolls of 6ft diamond mesh fencing
• Fencing poles, stays and binding wire
• Welded mesh (small squares to keep animals safe)
• Three x 6ft gates and gate latches
• Cement, building sand and stones
• Septic tank
• Water storage tanks
• Square tubing (25mm x 2.0mm)
• Quick-drying black enamel paint
• Solar lights, panels and systems
• Wheelbarrows

Monetary donations can be made to TAG’s dedicated building account, Standard Bank cheque account, 10106261256, branch code 051001; use “TAG home’ as reference.

For more information, to arrange delivery of donations or to send Proof of Payment (POP), WhatsApp Annie Jungmann on 076 330 5736.

The TAG charity shop will remain at 86 Cloverdene Road.
