For the past 10 years, Gadget Fix, at the Vodacom Shop Oakfields, has been mending broken screens, like chocolate heals a broken heart. First opening its doors in Bedfordview, the outlet that specialises in repairs on all leading devices and offers only genuine replacement parts, made Benoni its home in 2016. With Waleed Jones at the helm, the outlet has become a household name, offering insurance repairs as well as servicing walk-in clients. “Celebrating a decade of being of service is a milestone,” he said. “Being first-time nominees in the Best of Ekurhuleni (BoE) Readers’ Choice Awards is an indication that our reputation and quality service are being recognised."
