Master Maths Benoni is a maths, physical science and English literacy centre that offers extra tuition using a blended method that combines full tutor support and guidance, with the unique Master Maths computer-based system. All tutors are qualified and trained to provide the learner with the needed support and guidance. Maths and physical science tuition is offered in English and Afrikaans.

All learners are dealt with individually and learners work at their own pace. All lessons take place at our centre and learners have a dedicated tutor that is responsible for tracking the learner’s progress. Emphasis is placed on active learning and independent thinking so that learners can apply their knowledge and skills with confidence in tests and exams.

At Master Maths Benoni, we want all our learners to enjoy a safe and secure environment in which, with our encouragement and patience, they can attain their highest potential to allow them to enter any future field of study. We follow the syllabus and structure of the school that the learner attends and test and exam preparation is a key part of our programme. Our programme is fully CAPS-aligned and we are equipped to assist learners who are registered with the DBE, IEB, SACAI, homeschooling learners and Cambridge primary and secondary stages as well as IGCSE. Master Maths Benoni is a well-established centre that has been tutoring learners for more than 30 years.

Adult upgrade course

The adult upgrade course is ideal for learners who don’t have core maths/ physical science on their final matric certificates and need one or both of the subjects for university entrance. It also caters for learners who did have maths and science on their final reports but need to improve their maths/science. All SBA’s as well as June and prelim exams are written at our centre in Benoni.

Gr 3 Literacy bridging course (English reading & listening comprehension)

Grade 4 – 7 English Literacy tuition (English reading & listening comprehension, with spelling lessons)

Master Literacy has developed a computer-based literacy programme to help learners practise their listening and reading comprehension skills, as well as their spelling abilities through separate written exercises, with continuous tutor support. Master Literacy aims to help learners develop reading and listening skills that will improve their general language skills so that they can read with meaning, understand what questions are asked and how to respond, not only in English but across various subjects.
