Members of the Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) arrested four, and recovered four vehicles and four motorcycles during routine weekend patrols from August 12 to 16.
Stolen motorcycles
On August 12 at 08:00, members followed up on information of stolen motorcycles at a home in Mokghoba Section, Etwatwa.
Two suspects were arrested when members discovered three motorcycles reported and stolen or hijacked hidden at the home.
The recovered motorcycles included two BMWs and a Honda Ace.
Later, on the same day, another BMW motorcycle was found on Central Avenue, Kempton Park.
Investigations in the separate cases are continuing.
Wanted person found
A 27-year-old man sought in connection with a case of fraud in Brighton Beach, Durban, was arrested in Ravens Crescent, Witfield.
Possession of drugs
A 33-year-old suspect was arrested on charges of being in possession of drugs at Northdene and High streets, Brakpan.
Crystal methamphetamine was seized.
Four abandoned vehicles were recovered
• A white Nissan NP200 was found in Kelvin Street, Kempton Park it was reported as hijacked in Tembisa.
• A white Toyota Quantum was recovered in Chris Hani Drive, Emaphupeni, Etwatwa it was reported as hijacked in Nebo.
• A Toyota Fortuner was found in Princes’ Avenue, in Benoni, it was reported as stolen in Villieria.
• A grey Ford Ranger was found on the R555, Springs it was reported as hijacked in Witbank.
