Children spend time with SAPS officers

Colouring books, stationery and GBV pamphlets were handed out

Enlightening children about the role of police and their duties, Crystal Park SAPS social crime prevention and support members visited Paradise Day Care Centre recently, during the school’s career day.

Dressed as doctors, nurses, police officers and other professionals, the children had fun while learning about the different careers.

According to Crystal Park police spokesperson Sergeant Lerato Mopeli, the Grade R learners and their teachers were encouraged to report child abuse and GBV-related matters to the police.

Dressed as an air hostess is Keabetswe Phiri (4).

Colouring books, stationery and GBV pamphlets were handed out at the school.
