BFS make a sweet arrest

Two suspects were arrested

Members of the Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) arrested two suspects in Brakpan, on October 18, following information that they were in possession of a truckload of stolen chocolates.

According to Warrant Officer Grant Giblin, BFS spokesperson, the unit received information of suspicious activity taking place at a home in Kingsway Avenue.

“Upon arrival officers found a white Toyota Dyna truck, which had allegedly been involved in a business robbery in Crystal Park, parked inside the property,” he said

“Inside the truck, officers found boxes of chocolates amounting to R500 000, reportedly taken during the robbery.”

The loot has been returned to the owner of the business and the truck impounded, pending further investigations.
