The 100% Foundation raised a total amount of R56 200 at their inaugural golf day, at Benoni Country Club, on October 5.

A total of 44 players from different companies from Ekurhuleni supported the event, helping the organisation raise R42 000 from golfer enrolments. A total amount of R14 200 was raised from a raffle and auctioned items.

The organisation’s senior development and project coordinator, Janap Biemba, said all proceeds from the event will go to Ebenhaeser Old Age Home, the Almond Tree and Con A More School.

Biemba added that the objective of the fundraising was to create awareness of the foundation’s work in the community and to network and build relationships with various companies in the region.
