Second call: Want to work for the Benoni SPCA?

The Benoni SPCA wants to appoint three animal welfare assistants.

Their responsibilities will include basic primary animal care, vaccinations, deworming, parasite control, basic wound treatment, microchipping and euthanasia in all domestic animals.

Preference will go to candidates registered with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC).

Interested parties can email their CVs and proof of registration with SAVC to manager@spcabenoni.co.za, by no later than 10:00 on February 28.

As a welfare organisation, the SPCA cannot pay market-related salaries as prescribed by the SAVC.
