New medical centre opens in Oakfields
This is the ninth medical centre to open in Gauteng, under the Health Worx umbrella.
Oakfields Shopping Centre recently welcomed Health Worx Medical Centre to its list of tenants.
For the past 18 years, Health Worx has become a household name in offering premium health care to the community.
Speaking at the official opening of the centre, on August 31, CEO Wim van Zyl says that the brand is steadily expanding its footprint in Gauteng with this being its ninth clinic.
“We pride ourselves in offering our patients an all-inclusive medical facility where they can consult with medical practitioners that have their best interests, health and comfort at heart,” he said.
“We have thus far enlisted the services of four general practitioners as well as two dentists and boast with a fully equipped casualty where emergency care can be administered until patients have been stabilised.”
Van Zyl further stated that centre offers pathology services with a full X-ray department opening soon.
The addition of further specialised medical services such as that of a baby and travel clinic will follow soon.
“We are excited to welcome the services of a dietician, orthodontist, psychologist and psychiatrist soon,” said Van Zyl.
“We are committed to offering family orientated medical care, where every patient’s needs come first.”
